Please stop working for the Workers Party, they’re no good. They’re all about sad stuff. We all know that your true affiliation lies with the DAFT Party of NZ. That comical beard, all those witty things you say in your Presidents column in Salient each week, those t-shirts you wear at inappropriate times. The helmets, sailors hats, right down to the way you talk… you’re exactly what we’re looking for in a candidate! We’ll make you smile, and people will realise when you play silly pranks for ineffectual reasons that you’re just DAFT!

Salute to Boris

Boris Johnson, the new Mayor of London, has been called a few things lately, and one of those adjectives is DAFT. So we decided to contact Boris and congrautlate him and offer him a life membership to the DAFT Party.

New Zealand’s future is shit!

I was watching Mad Max last night and got a thinking, why is NZ not harnessing the awesome power that is fecal matter?

DAFT speaks out in online forums

As election times draws nearer we need to raise the awareness of people about NZ politics the political system and DAFT especially. We have had volunteers endlessly commenting on blog sites, message forums, and other types of new media, in a effort to get our message across. Here is one of the more memorable ones:

DAFT Budget

We’re trying to get club affiliation at Victoria. For the purposes of this, we have to provide a budget forecast. Something which I never really thought about… anyways here it is so far…

DAFT recruitment drive

To be a registered party the electoral commission says that we need 500 members. With the Facebook group sitting on 323, and the Bebo group sitting on 40 with  a few double ups that means that there are about 350 people who are willing and able to sign up to DAFT.

Building the DAFT Constitution

The event tonight was a great success! We got a pretty comprehensive Constitution hammered out over pizza and beer, after we adjourned to Syn to enjoy the delectable Hells Pizza in combination with some alcoholic beverages.

Hooray for New Zealand!

Too long has New Zealand stood in the shadow of Australia. Too long have we had to put up with foreigners thinking we’re part of Australia. Australians stealing our pavlova, bands, horses and actors.
